This policy explains what information By Evette Santos ("we", "us") collects on byevettesantos.com, why, and what choices you have.

What we collect

Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and what you bought. Payment details are entered at checkout and handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store your full card number.
Account information, if you make an account: your name, email, and order history.
Messages: what you send us when you contact us or reply to our emails.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and products you view, and how you got to our site. This is collected automatically with cookies and similar tools.
Marketing choices: your email or phone number if you join our list or sign up for offers, and whether you open or click our messages.

How we use it

To take and ship your orders, process payments, and send order updates.
To answer your questions and give support.
To send emails or texts about new products, restocks and offers, only if you signed up. You can stop them anytime.
To keep the site working, understand how it is used, and prevent fraud and abuse.
To follow the law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with companies that help us run the store, and only as needed for their job:

Shopify, which hosts our store, checkout and customer accounts.
Payment providers, such as Shopify Payments and PayPal, to take payment and prevent fraud.
Shipping carriers, such as USPS, to deliver your order.
Email and text marketing providers, to send messages you asked for.
Analytics and advertising tools, to understand our traffic and show our ads on other sites.
The authorities or professional advisers, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Some of these tools can count as "sharing" or "selling" under some state privacy laws, because they use cookie data for advertising. See "Your choices" for how to opt out.

The BES Digital Planners app

If you use our BES Digital Planners app, the app has its own privacy policy at app.byevettesantos.com/privacy. It explains what the app stores, such as your account, your planner entries and your purchase record, what stays on your device, and how crash reports work. This policy covers our website and store.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep your cart working, remember your choices, count visits, and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the cart, may stop working. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. We do not change how we collect data in response to "Do Not Track" signals. We do respond to the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it.

Your choices

Marketing: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to a text.
Advertising and analytics: you can opt out through your browser's privacy settings, the Global Privacy Control, or the industry tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Access, correction and deletion: email hello@byevettesantos.com and tell us what you need. We may need to confirm it is you. We keep order records as long as the law and our accounting require.

California and other U.S. state residents

If you live in California, or another state with a privacy law, you may have the right to know what we collect, ask us to delete or correct it, get a copy, and opt out of sharing for advertising. We will not treat you worse for using these rights. To use them, email hello@byevettesantos.com. You can ask an authorized agent to make the request for you.

Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Our store is based in the United States, so your information is processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. We rely on your consent, on our contract with you, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interests in running the store. You may ask to access, correct, delete, or move your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@byevettesantos.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable steps to protect your information, and Shopify secures checkout. No method is perfectly secure. We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above, to meet legal, tax and accounting duties, and to settle disputes.
